What we collect
When you request a valuation or contact us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, collection postcode and details about your vehicle (registration, make, model, mileage, condition and finance status). We also record basic technical information, such as how you found our website (referrer and campaign tags), to help us understand which advertising works.
How we use it
- To prepare and send your cash offer
- To arrange collection and payment if you accept
- To meet legal obligations, such as notifying DVLA of the change of keeper and keeping sale records
Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running and improving our business. We do not sell your data.
Who we share it with
We share your data only with the service providers we need to run the business: website hosting, our messaging provider (for WhatsApp notifications), finance companies when settling outstanding finance, and DVLA. We share it with others only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries that don’t lead to a sale for up to 12 months. We keep records of completed sales for 6 years to meet accounting and legal requirements.
Your rights
